Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers. He declined a $1 million dollar deal from the Harlem Globetrotters. He was selected 1st overall by Milwaukee in the 1969 Draft where he played 6 seasons and one NBA Championship with Oscar Robertson. He was playing his best ball ever until him and Oscar Robertson lost they're ability to play with each other after Kareem broke his hand twice. When he returned they had different ideas so he requested a trade to either The New York Knicks or Los Angeles Lakers. He was a powerhouse for LA which was where he played 14 seasons winning 5 NBA Championships in 1980,1982,1985,1987,and 1988 until he retired in 1989.
