What were the original Olympic games events?

The original Olympic games in ancient Greece featured a combination of athletics and combat events. The main events included foot races of different distances, such as the stadion and diaulos, as well as the pentathlon, which included running, jumping, throwing the discus, throwing the javelin, and wrestling. There were also combat events such as boxing, pankration (a martial art), and the hoplite race, where athletes ran in full armor.

Tell you know all the olympics events?

I have knowledge of a wide range of Olympic events, including summer sports like athletics, swimming, gymnastics, and basketball, as well as winter sports such as skiing, snowboarding, and figure skating. Each Olympic Games features a mix of traditional sports and newer events, reflecting evolving athletic trends. However, I don't have an exhaustive list of every single event, as new sports can be added or removed over time. If you have specific events in mind, I can provide more detailed information about them.

What are the Olympic contributions of Ancient Greece?

By Olympics I'm assuming you mean Olympics. If you are then your awnser is that scientific evidence suggests that the Olympics started in ancient Greece as a tribute to their gods. It had most of the events we have now in the Olympics but some of the original events were removed and some new events were added. This is why when the Olympic torch makes it's way around the world it is always lit and starts it's journey in Greece. One of the events was the relay race which was run naked and the baton was on fire at one end. Women were also not allowed to compete in the Olympics because gender equality was not social protocol in those days. There were states or territories in Greece different to the current ones and anyone from outside of the states was also excluded from competing.
