The Boston Bruins, New York Rangers, Chicago Blackhawks, Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Detroit Red Wings.
I'm not sure that these six were the "original" NHL teams.
During the 1920's and 30's, the Ottawa Senators and the Montreal Maroons were a part of the league that had more than six franchises.

The Original Six is a term for the group of six teams that made up the NHL from 1942 until the 1967 expansion.
The Original Six teams:
Montreal Canadiens (founded 1909)
Toronto Maple Leafs (charter member 1917)
Detroit Red Wings (founded 1926)
Boston Bruins (founded 1924)
New York Rangers (founded 1926)
Chicago Blackhawks (founded 1926)

Montreal Canadiens
Montreal Wanderers
Quebec Bulldogs
Toronto Hockey Club (known locally at the time as the Blueshirts, and incorporated as the Toronto Arena Hockey Club late in 1917-18)
All five were charter members of the NHL when the league was organized in November 1917.
The Wanderers withdrew from the league after playing only four games. The Montreal (Westmount) Arena burned down. The Canadiens had also played at this arena, but were able to finish the season by playing home games at the Jubilee Rink. The Wanderers' owner decided not to continue.
In 1919, the Toronto Arenas became the St. Patricks.
In 1920, the Bulldogs moved to Hamilton, Ontario, and became the Tigers.
In 1924, two teams were added: the Montreal Hockey Club and the Boston Bruins. Montreal eventually adopted the nickname Maroons.
So in 1924-25, there were six teams: Canadiens, Maroons, Boston, Ottawa, Hamilton and Toronto.
The Hamilton Tigers moved to New York in 1925, becoming the N.Y. Americans. An expansion team was added in Pittsburgh: the Pirates. Now there were seven teams.
In 1925-26, three expansion teams were added: Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Cougars and New York Rangers.
In 1930, Pittsburgh moved to Philadelphia and became the Quakers. They withdrew after the 1930-31 season. The Ottawa Senators took a year off, reducing the NHL to eight teams.
The Senators returned in 1931-32, but in 1934 they moved to St. Louis, becoming the Eagles. They left after the 1934-35 season, so the NHL was back down to eight.
In 1938, the Maroons folded, leaving the NHL with seven teams.
In 1941, the Americans rebranded themselves as the Brooklyn Americans, but after one season (they still played at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan), they pulled out, leaving the group often referred to as the "original" six: Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Montreal, New York and Toronto.
The so-called "Original Six" were Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks, New York Rangers, Montreal Canadiens, and Toronto Maple Leafs.
