1995 Cowboys

Although this was post-jimmy Johnson, the collection of talent on this team in a non-salary cap era will never again be matched. The #2 Ranked Defense and #2 Ranked Offense were both littered with future Hall of Famers such as Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, Larry Allen, Deion Sanders and Charles Haley. Not to mention perenial Pro-Bowlers such as Darren Woodson, Nate Newton, Mark Tuinei, Brock Marion, Jay Novacek, and Moose Johnson.

This team collected its 3rd Super Bowl in 4 years but after the 95 season things started to unravel. Coach Barry Switzer was not qualified to coach an NFL team and basically rode the coattails of this teams talent, which can only last so long. Many of the key players got in legal/drug trouble in the following years and the accountability that Jimmy Johnson instilled in this team was lost by 1996. Other players had to leave due to the new salary cap restraints and Dallas began it's 13 year drought without a playoff win which was recently snapped during the 2009 season with a win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
