Cowboys can be found in pretty much any state. Especially rodeo cowboys because they travel from rodeo to rodeo.
Obviously Texas and Wyoming probably have the most.
The west in general has a lot( Arizona, New Mexico)
The south is more known for country boys than cowboys but there are a lot there too. The only places where I would guess would have less would be the North or east but even they have some.
So long story short EVERYWHERE.
Just in some places more than others, and most of the time away from larger cities.
Hope I helped a little for ya!

This is a very broad question. Cowboys basically originated in Mexico. For American history of cowboys I would start by checking with the Bill Cody museum site. It also depends on when in the 1800's that you are interested in. Since until the mid-point of the century most states west of Kansas were still in the midst of the Indian wars, ranches were not a wide-spread phenomena.

No. They were called the Dallas Cowboys from 1960.
Yes cowboys love to please the indians
The western half of the United States is most famous for its cowboys, particularly in the states of Texas, Montana, South Dakota, Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma. The same area (being the West) in Canada is also famous for having cowboys. Alberta is the one province that is the most famous for cowboys, however, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba have a large number of ranches as well. Ontario also has its fair share of cowboys.
Cowboys... just found that out on the episode I am watching now.
The only player I found listed as Cater, was Greg Cater a punter who did not play for Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Bills, and Cardinals.

The Dallas Cowboys are "America's Team" and their memorabilia can be found in most sporting goods outlets around the country. Texas Stadium is the home of the 'Cowboys' and still remains to be the best place to make a purchase of less common items.
