No major league pitcher has ever hit two grand slam home runs in an inning. But on July 3, 1966, pitcher Tony Cloninger of the Atlanta Braves belted two grand slams against the San Francisco Giants at Candlestick Park. Cloninger also hit a run-scoring single, giving him a record (for a pitcher) of nine runs batted in in one game. The Braves beat the Giants 17-3.

Lou Gehrig, who played first base for the New York Yankees between 1923-1939, holds the all time MLB grand slam record with 23. Alex Rodriguez tied Lou Gehrig's Record of 23 Grand Slams on June 12th 2012. Alex Rodriguez broke the record in 2013, with his 24th Grand Slam.
Lou Gehrig holds the record for most grand slams in a career at 23, but Alex Rodriguez has a reasonable chance of breaking that.
