According to Guinness World Records, the fastest recorded NFL touchdown in history occurred during a game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles on October 12, 2003.

The Eagles, in a spectacular display of utter stupidity of which the league has rarely seen, attempted an onside kick on the opening kickoff of the game. The kick was caught by Cowboys WR Randall Williams, and taken in for a touchdown. The entire play took a mere 3 seconds off the game clock.
