The Mailman.
Karl Malone of the Utah Jazz - called the Mailman because, he delivered.
Pete Mavarvich former nba player for the Atlanta Hawks,New Orleans Jazz then jazz moved to Utah.
He played for the Utah Jazz, and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Technicly the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Utah Jazz in all of Stockton's and Malone's history in the Utah Jazz. If it were not for the Bulls star player Michele Jordan, the Utah Jazz would have won the NBA finals in a frog Brock Obama bowl game in Miami Florida.
Moses Malone never played for the Utah Jazz. My list 1 Karl Malone 2 John Stockton 3 Adrian Dantley 4 "Pistol" Pete Maravich 5 Mark Eaton Moses Malone actually did play one season in Utah on the Utah Stars. This list is good but it also needs Jeff Hornacek in there somewhere, maybe as the sixth man My list would have Stockton at #1, then Malone, Hornacek, Maravich and Eaton. (a loyal Jazz fan)
Karl Malone of the Utah Jazz - called the Mailman because, he delivered.
I would have to say "Pistol" Pete Maravich. His number 7 jersey was retired by the Utah Jazz in 1985. All of the other numbers retired by the Jazz continued their playing careers past that date. It could very well be Karl Malone.
Karl Malone got his nickname "The Mailman" from Hot Rod Hunley because "he always delivered". Karl Malone had his nickname "The Mailman" before he played for the Utah Jazz. He got his nickname while playing at Louisiana Tech from David Buice who announced the men's basketball games at La Tech.
Karl "The Mailman" Malone play 18 seasons with the Utah Jazz, and one final season with the LA Lakers, before retiring from the NBA. In addition to that, he played 3 seasons of college basketball with Louisina Tech, where he worked on staff after his retirement from the NBA.
