For Hockey sticks you need to measure from you chin when you are wearing skates and from your nose when not wearing them. That will tell you what size stick you will need. It should be in inches. Hope that helps.

No stick shall exceed sixty-three inches (63") in length from the heel to the end of the shaft nor more than twelve and one-half inches (12 1/2") from the heel to the end of the blade.http://www.nhl.com/rules/rule19.html
how ever tall you are it should come to your nose when your in hockey skates that means it is the right height for you
Yes it is a ice hockey stick a friend of mine uses and has one.
You don't know what a hockey stick looks like!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
if you have a left stick your left hand goes low ( not to low ) on the stick and your right hand on the top of the hockey stick, for a right stick it's the opposite of holding a left stick, to tell if you are a lefty or a righty with a hockey stick try this both ways with a right and a left stick to see what is more comfortable for you.
if your a 8 to 12 year old then get a junior 13 and up then senior stick. cut it were its the length of your chin.
Once you break your stick you must drop it on the ice. If you try to play with a broken stick you will receive a minor penalty.
