depends. In sports like Basketball, some people are going away from it because they think that blacks are taking over. Sports like hockey that have mostly white players are going up. So there is some portion of racism.

Before we can stop racism in sports we must stop racism in society. As long as people are hateful towards those that are not like them in general society, there is no way to stop this in the sports world.
