At the end of the 2006-2007 premier league soccer/football season 3 teams were relegated and 17 remained in the top division of English soccer.

The three teams relegated were: Watford, Charlton and Sheffield United (who argued the case of the illegal use of a player by Wigan Athletic- who were just one position from the drop zone).

The Teams that remained in the Premier league are:

Manchester United, Chelsea FC, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton, Bolton, Reading, Portsmouth, Blackburn, Aston Villa, Middelsborough, Newcastle, Manchester City, West Ham, Fulham and Wigan.

The three teams to be promoted from the Coca Cola league are: Derby, Sunderland and Birmingham.
