Uh, no, there are only 9 positions. A position player means they play a position. These positions also have numbers associated with them. 1) is the pitcher, 2) catcher, 3) first baseman, 4) second baseman, 5) is the third baseman, 6) is the shortstop, 7) is the left fielder, 8) center fielder and 9) the right fielder. The DH rule was enacted by American League owners to spice up the game. You can be a DH, hit DH, play DH but it is NOT a position.
