The one in all.....Ernie Banks
In the 1971 All-Star Game at Detroit's Tiger Stadium, Frank Robinson of the Baltimore Orioles became the first player to hit home runs for both leagues. He hit a two-run blast for the American League in the third inning of the game eventually won by the AL, 6-4. Robinson had previously hit a home run for the National League in 1959, when he was a member of the Cincinnati Reds. Alfonso Soriano duplicated the feat in the 2000s. He hit home runs for the American League as a New York Yankee (in 2002) and a Texas Ranger (in 2007). He later hit a homer for the National League as a Chicago Cub (in 2007).
Ernie Banks played his entire baseball career with the Chicago Cubs, where he earned the nickname "Mr. Cub".
