Joan of Arc is considered to be a revolutionary because she caused a sudden and dramatic change in society. She was nicknamed The Maid of Orleans.
The somewhat hyperbolic name was used to set off the stadium from other covered stadiums such as the Astrodome. It was also designed for professional football in the early years of the Super Bowl championship game, which it has hosted more times than any other location. Beginning in 2011, the branding of the dome was as the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, which has caused some confusion since Atlanta's new stadium was named the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in 2015.
The real name of the church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." Church members believe that the name of the Church came from direct revelation from God to Joseph Smith. The revelation of the name of the Church came in 1838 and is currently found in Doctrine and Covenants section 115. (you can read the entire revelation at the "Related Links" below) From 1830 to 1838, the Church was called 'The Church of Christ', which had caused a lot of confusion due to the many other churches with the same title. The nickname "Mormons" was originally meant as an insult and came from their enemies, based on their belief in the Book of Mormon. The Church tried to get people to stop using the nickname for almost 150 years, but now acknowledges it as an acceptable nickname, although they would prefer the use of "Latter-day Saint" rather than "Mormon".

In 1980, the Saints lost their first 14 games, prompting local sportscaster Bernard "Buddy D" Diliberto to advise Saints supporters to wear paper bags over their heads at the team's home games; many bags rendered the club's name as the "'Aints" rather than the "Saints." The practice of wearing a bag over one's head then spread rapidly, first to fans of other poorly performing teams within the NFL, and ultimately to those of other American team sports, and has become a firmly established custom throughout the United States
