John Woodward played for Elk Grove H.S. in California and hit 29 home runs in 1970 and 31 in 1971. With 60 homre's in a two year's he still hold's the record.He also kicked a 67 yard field goal vs Grant H.S. of Sacramento,Ca in 1971 which is also a state record.
