There are in fact 3 Cups.
1. The original bowl which was donated in 1893 by Lord Stanley of Preston which stays locked in a glass case on display in the vault at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was officially retired and removed from the rest of the trophy in 1963 due to it becoming brittle and compromised over the years.
2. The "Presentation" Cup which is the one which the players skate around with upon winning in the Stanley Cup Finals.
