NO!!! Baseball is as athletically challenging as Basketball of football but it takes a lot more skills and mental toughness to excel at baseball. for example all baseball players have to be able to run, throw, hit (except AL pitchers) jump and catch. while in football everything is specialized. only 1 player has to be able to throw, receivers can barely run with the ball and 5 guys on offense (lineman) who's 40 times shouldn't even be taken. also baseball is a game of failure. if you get a hit 3 times out of every 10 for long enough your going to the hall of fame but in basketball if you got 30% from the field you aren't wining many games even going 30% from 3 point range is considered bad. all this makes baseball a very hard game to play.

p.s. only in baseball can a player go from in the running for the CY Young award (pitchers version of mvp) to in the minor leagues in less then 2 yrs ( Dontrelle Willis)!
