which ever team gets the ball after the jump ball.the ref. will throw the ball directly up and two people facing each other will jump up and try to bat/hit/slap the ball to the other teams side[the direction they're shooting] and somebody will grab it and start dribbling it in the correct direction or pass it to someone else on their team.
