this question is debatable most people will tell you 0 but some will tell you 1. the closest auburn has ever come was in the mid 80's when they were on probation and the AP rated them #1 but they never played in a championchip.

Yes, West Virginia University has won national championships in several sports. Most notably, the men's soccer team claimed the NCAA championship in 2021. Additionally, the university's rifle team has a strong tradition, winning multiple NCAA championships. However, they have not won a national championship in football or basketball at the NCAA Division I level.
The UCLA Lady Bruins have won the most National Championships in Collegiate Fastpitch Softball...I believe they have won 25 or 26 National Championships.
