I knowed a Italian old man who said: "I played for Glasgow Rangers in the sixteen!". I would like know if is true, but now i remember only the old man's first name: GIORGIO.

Strictly speaking, that depends on what you mean by 'Irish', but I'll take it you mean players from the Irish Free State (Republic of Ireland). Only four players from the Republic of Ireland have been on the books of Rangers: Alex Stevenson (who would later go on to manage the Irish national side), Alex Craig, James Lowry McAuley, and Reuben Evans, although the latter never played for the first team. As for players from Northern Ireland, the list is far too long for me to mention!
