How fast can a jetta go?

As fast as you can go before you get pulled over....around 135 mph.

Depending upon the model of jetta and the year in which it was built.

Mk3 jettas with a 12v Vr6 was speed limited at 135mph. Mk4 jettas are speed limited to 135mph across the board. (all models) Jettas that have the vr6 or 1.8T can go faster than 135mph with the speed limiter removed. Some Gli's seem to have increased limiters .

The 2004 Gli with 1.8T has been known to achieve 150mph with minimal modifications and no ECU flashing. 2005 mk5 Gti and GLi and later are speed limited to 127 mph.

2009 models once again are limited to 135mph & 2010 to 127mph.
