There are many possibilities, and indeed one of them is that in certain countries American Football is linked to schools and universities.

However, in other countries, like Belgium, we have an independent football league, the BFL, which grants people the opportunity to play this sport.

Now If you want to play PROFFESIONAL football, then you might want to apply to a football team abroad. Which means, get in touch with teams from Germany, Austria etc. These are amongst the biggest football countries in Europe, but they also have a good youth program.
