THE PERSON WHO WROTE THIS CLEARLY KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THE DEAF COMMUNITY AND LIFE STYLE!

There is more than enough information about the history of deaf sports. For example, the first deaf football game took pleace between England and Scotland in the 1890's. In 1945, The American Athletic Union of the Deaf was established which later was renamed to the American Athletic Association of the Deaf and finally the USA Deaf Sports Federation (renamed in 1997). The information on Deaf History could go on forever. To learn a lot of valuable information, visit USAdafsports.org. This also includes links with information about the Deaflympics!
