UCLA Bruins, back-to-back, 1971-72 and 1972-73. Part of their unbelievable 88 game win streak.
NCSU Wolfpack, 27-0 in 1972-73, but on probation so no post-season play...

How can you forget the '68 and '69 Penn State teams? They had back to back undefeated seasons and national champs. Franco Harris played on those teams.
only before the season started.
As of the end of the 2007 season, there have been four teams in the NFL that have had undefeated/untied regular seasons: 1934 - Chicago Bears 1942 - Chicago Bears 1972 - Miami Dolphins 2007 - New England Patriots Of those four teams, only the 1972 Dolphins won the NFL championship and completed the season undefeated.
The Browns were never undefeated and they were never the Baltimore Ravens. They have been the Cleveland Browns since 1946.
The Dolphins
The San Francisco 49ers are 5-0 in Super Bowls. The New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints are all 1-0. As of the 2012 season, there are five teams that have played in the Super Bowl and have not lost. Four of those teams (Jets, Ravens, Buccaneers, and Saints) have played in only one Super Bowl and have been victorious. The San Francisco 49ers have played in and won five Super Bowls games. Super Bowl 47 will determine either the 49ers remaining as the only undefeated Super Bowl team with multiple appearances, or the Ravens will take that distinguished honor if they win.
They were in the 2009 season if you mean have they ever beat the three teams in their division twice.
Since 1968 was the last time they were undefeated in their division
only before the season started.
The Titans have never had an undefeated season. Their best seasons have been 13-3 on three occasions.
There has never been a Major League baseball team to go undefeated in a season.

In the 2009 season: the Colts and the Saints. First time in NFL history two teams have been 12-0 in the same season.
Yes, the Dolphins in 1972 went undefeated during the regular season and won the Super Bowl. The 1934 and 1942 Chicago Bears went undefeated during the regular season but lost the NFL championship game both seasons. The Patriots just finished the 2007 regular season undefeated. The question was "Was there ever and undefeated NFL Season?" If you're referring to a regular season AND championship win...there was only one...the 1972 Miami Dolphins. If you're referring to and undefeated regular season only...four teams have done this...they are: 1943 Chicago Bears 1942 Chicago Bears 1972 Miami Dolphins 2007 New England Patriots Both of the above answers are inaccurate. The first team to go undefeated through an ENTIRE NFL SEASON and win the CHAMPIONSHIP was the Green Bay Packers in 1929. Curly Lambeau was their coach. The Dolphins were the 2nd team to do it, 43 years later, without resorting to any ties (NFL had tie games in those days and the Packers had 1 tie). The Packers and Dolphins are the ONLY teams to ever accomplish an undefeated NFL Championship.
