So it appears that it was England as opposed to Wales where Baseball was invented. The British invented baseball as inactive children in England needed some mild exercise so the game was created as a result. In Commonwealth nations its played by many kids up to age 11.. while its very popular as a girls game with UK having organised nationwide Leagues.
