He returned one kickoff for a TD, that being the opening kickoff in the game against the Philadelphia Eagles played in New Orleans on November 5, 1967. The Saints won that game, 31-24, and it was the first regular season victory in Saints history. He scored two other TDs in the game on a 49 yard pass reception and a 27 yard fumble recovery return.
