You can, but excessive dry-firing causes wear on your gun and will break it earlier than usual
Yes, the Famas F1 weights 3.61 kg (7.96 lb) & the Famas G2 weights 3.8 kg (8.4 lb). The AK47 weights 5.21 kg (11.5 lb) with loaded magazine.
Semi and full auto for the F1 and G2. The civilian legal MAS .223 is semi auto only.
The FAMAS has the same calibre (5.56mm) and mag size (30 rounds) as the M16 so YES It can use the STANAG Magazine from the M16. However, this only applies to the current production FAMAS G2 - the original FAMAS F1, first fielded in 1977, uses a proprietary 25 round magazine, and also has a 1 in 12 rifling pitch, making it incapable of stabilizing the 62 grain NATO standard SS109 projectile.
Nope. RIP Famas.
Commando is more accurate than the FAMAS. But the FAMAS is better in damage. Overall FAMAS is better.

The FAMAS rifle was first fielded in 1977...
Yes, but it won't damage the gun in any way.
The FAMAS is the first unlockable assault rifle for the assault class. You can get it by completing the assignment "Best Friends Forever." Once you've done that you have the FAMAS.
The original production model - the FAMAS F1 - came with 25 round magazines. The current production model - the FAMAS G2 - uses STANAG 4179 magazines (common to the M16, FN FNC, HK416, CETME Model L, L85/SA80, etc. The 'standard' for these is 30 rounds, although they can be had in five, ten, 20, 30, 35, 40, or 50 rounds, as well as the 90 round drum and the infamous (but ineffective) 100 round Beta-C magazine.
