I am not an expert in collectibles but I was able to find a similar bat at leftfieldcollectibles.com. I have included the link to the bat on this page. I looked in the 1993 edition of Baseball Encyclopedia and found only one entry for a player whose last name was Maranville and that was Rabbit Maranville. The documentation on the link page has the name spelled Rabbitt. There was a player for the 1922 Cleveland Indians named Joe Rabbitt. I also found on sportsmemorabilia.com a game used bat autographed by Rabbit Maranville, estimated value $6,000. Hope this helps a little!
