Joseph William Namath, also known as Broadway Joeor Joe Willie, is a former American football quarterback. He played for the University of Alabama under legendary coach Paul "Bear" Byant. Namath played for the New York Jets for most of his professional career but finished his career with the Los Angeles Rams. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1985.
