I have played Pokemon silver a lot when I was younger beat maybe 40 times and catching legendary Pokemon the easiest? Well I usually would knock the legendary down as low as possibly in hp then I would put him to sleep after that I would use a poke ball not a great ball not an ultra ball but a poke ball. It seems that a poke balls have a higher catch rate on legendary's it doesn't say that but trust me use a poke ball and here is a trick when the poke ball turns left on the catch screen hit A then hit B when it turns to the right then hit A again and this method gives you a better chance on the Pokemon staying in the ball. it would be easyer to use Ginger and use mean look i did it on rioku and got him
There is only one Master Ball per game, unless you hit the lottery in the department store. Then you could have two.
At this point you have already made the decision to take the penalty and should proceed with the 2nd ball Answer by FutureLPGAgolfer Once you DROP, there is no going back, even if you havn't hit yet and you found it, the penalty counts still and you MUST hit the second ball.
You have to go to sootpolis city and go talk to Steven and he will take u to groudon in a little cave i believe this is how you get him!!!! but be prepared he is hard to catch but here is a tip once u throw the poke ball hold A and B then when the ball opens let go of B and hold A then each time the ball bounces hit A then press L and R every time the ball moves left right left right!!! hope it helped!!!!!
Entei is a powerful Fire-type legendary; however, it mainly flees in Pokemon FireRed, LeafGreen, Silver, Gold, Crystal, Heartgold, and SoulSilver. It wouldn't hit your Gastly, unless Mean Look is used. You can catch Entei with any Pokemon, because it just requires at least a Poke Ball to attempt to catch it. Be careful, though, if Entei doesn't run or get caught, it can easily defeat Gastly.
