1. Find a forum or create your own to host the e-fed.

If you feel you have the tech know-how, you may create your own website to get started. However, if this is the route you choose, be warned, as it will be far more difficult to get website traffic. Advertisement will be necessary and potentially costly.

2. Create the actual fed.

How to do this depends on which direction you opted to take for step one. If you decided on your own site, everything from here is basically up to you, with a few guidelines, of course. If you have chosen to pick a forum or message board or website of any other kind to host your e-fed, create a new thread. You might want to create a sign-up thread first to see how many people are interested. Don't waste time in this process, as people will forget they ever applied and as a result will not be active.

3. Thread Basics

Establish a set of rules for your users to follow. Depending on if you are using real superstars, created wrestlers, or a booking league, these rules may differ. Create two to three shows, with their own personal additives, like logos, championships, management, etc. Allow your members to choose what brand they go on. Create a schedule for these shows and follow it consistently. Over time, establish a pay-per-view schedule to highlight big feuds and would-be great matches. Don't be one-sided or biased towards yourself or your favorite members. If you are, you'll wind up paying for it.
