a good way too lace them is too lace them going straight across.....it leaves a good look the way to do this is lace the right side skipping 1 hole then across then 1 hole up and across.............eventually youll understand

yes you can put vans in the washer but not in the dryer take out the laces and let the shoes and laces air dry separately if you put them in the dryer it may ruin the design **Good Luck With Them**
I personally would do 2 things. 1. I wouldn't tie them I would just tuck the laces in the shoe. 2. I would tie the laces like normal but from the inside so no one can see the laces and so they won't fall out as easily.
