no their not. there is an old and new style of 98 threads. one fits the other also but i dont remember which. the a5 and the x7 have the same threads but are different from the 98. the pro also has the same threads as the 98(not sure wether new or old 98 threads).
It all depends on who made the marker and the type. Most markers use Autococker threads. But many guns have their own threads such as Ion, Shocker, Ego, Luxe, ect. There are barrel adapters that you can buy for a reasonable price.
Not exactly. Some brands and componies use only their kind of barrels. If you would like you can contact me and I can tell you more! Thanks

There are a few interchangeable parts between the spyder series by themselves, but most parts from spyders will not fit other spyders. However certain parts, like the main spring and valve, may be interchangeable with other markers.
no, for the a5, X7, TPX, Prolite and Bt4(not tippman) there is the a5 thread, and for 98, 98c, Project salvo, alpha balck/ Bravo one, Carver one/tange one its the 98 thread.
Yes, all Spyder markers, as well as as many others (JT) use "spyder" barrel threads.
no, spyders have spyder threading SP markers that are currently produced all have SP threading
They are listed as "spyder" threads. It shares them with piranhas and several spyder clones
They are both around the same performance. The J&J may be slightly better, being ceramic.
around 300 feet, the same an nearly every other gun.
TIPPMAN 98 CUSTOM OR TIPPMAN 98 custom pro Thes are the same gun but the pro has upgrades. This gun is the most customizable gun out there everyone says there are sooooo many upgrades. it is great for just shooting around with friends or for woodsball. if you go to arena's with like reall paintball barriers you might want some kind of ion ive heard the smart parts ion is great. but the tippman is probraly your best bet cause its cheap even thought its one of the higher end guns I have a tippman 98 and i love it.
The Project Salvo has Tippman 98 Custom barrel Threads.. Same with the Alpha black
No, barrel backs to not use the same threads as barrels. You can buy longer barrel fronts to attach to barrel backs.
yes
dude, the tippman 98's ( the ones they use at combat paintball at thetfore) are around £120, however it would be a big mistake buying, as you can get a much much lighter, better, faster gun, and complete with a mask and tank and hopper for the same price.
No, it will not break paint. "Underboring" (using a barrel with a smaller bore than the paintball), is a thing used to gain maximum efficiency and consistency from a paintball marker, since no air is escaping around the paintball, and the same amount of air is pushed against it every time.
Sadly no. If you look at the ends of the barrel, you will notice the threads. Those threads are not the same as a brass eagle threads.
All guns shoot the same FPS, therefore have the same range. The only exeption to this is barrels that causes backspin like a flatline or APEX but this slows the paintball down faster and reduces the chance of the paintball actually breaking as well as decreasing accuracy as spin increases. The best barrel is a barrel that fits your paint perfectly, but since paintballs are imperfect you need to get as close as possible. Choose a barrel that has bore inserts so that you can match it to your paint or under/overbore if you prefer. your barrel is most accurate at around 14 inches, and unless you have a bipod, are in prone and will take careful aim for EACH shot a 20 inch barrel wont do you any good.
Yes. Although all standard paintball guns shoot around the same distance, there are certain barrels or paintballs available that add range and/or accuracy to the marker. Besides that any marker with a longer barrel and optics could be considered a "sniper" marker.
All markers generally go the same distance, unless you have a specific barrel that adds backspin to the ball (apex barrel or flatline barrel). Typically they range in the area of 75 to 100ft. Much of this depends on the velocity.
