You are living proof that walking alone is not a guaranteed method of weight loss. I bet, however, that your cardiovascular condition is improving. There may be complex things going on, but as a rule the reason you are not losing weight is because your calorie intake is equal to the calories you burn. Talk to your physician to be sure that you are in good physical condition. Consider chewing your food very slowly (chew the heck out of it) and putting your fork DOWN between bites. When you are eating, just eat, and stop when you are full.
