To be real, running is just to feel better. It boosts energy and relieves stress. It's a competition with yourself to see how far you can push yourself. It also gives people a time to think, a time to themselves, and a sense of personal accomplishment.

Running is a physical exercise which will burn excesses of fat round the body. If we know we have weight which is not a necessity on our body, then running (or using gymnasium equipment like treadmills) is a brilliant way of getting thinner.

Physical exercise also increases cardio output which is of great benefit to your health and also improves physical appearance, strengthens muscles, tones up areas of the body you're not happy with and can also improve emotional and psychological well-being. Benefits of running are: * Weight loss * Cardiovascular Health. * Increased muscle mass. * Increased bone density. * Improved emotional state.
