To be in an Athletic Condition is when your body is capable of taking in hours of exercise and responds positively. If one is not in good athletic condition, they may be over weight from lack of exercise and over eating, although you can still be thin and not be in good athletic condition. In this case they have to build up endurance through running and lifting weights, or doing anything that gets the heart pumping. If one looks healthy but is not in good athletic condition, they are not capable of running for miles, and will crash easily and will feel exhausted and sore after their workout.
