If you're a male, 100% of your weight means you're in great shape. Putting that into numbers and for lesser purposes, a good one-repitition bench max by the end of the eighth grade should hover around 105 lbs.

The amount a typical 8th grader should bench press can vary greatly depending on factors such as gender, weight, height, and level of physical fitness. On average, an 8th grader who is new to Weightlifting may be able to bench press anywhere from 50 to 75 pounds. However, it is important for young individuals to focus on proper form and technique rather than lifting heavy weights to avoid injury and promote long-term strength development. It is recommended for young individuals to work with a qualified coach or trainer to determine an appropriate starting weight and progress safely in their strength training journey.
Well I bench press 215 and I'm 15 and going into the 9th grade so yeah it's good but I'm only like 5.7 in height and bench more then a 6.4 16 year old he only benches 150 lol man ur doing pretty good
ive just recently ended 8th grade like no more then a month ago my bw has only gone up a little bit but
currently:
bw: 122-123
max bench for 1 = 160
for reps = 135 x 5 / 140 x 3
in 8th
bw: 121-122
max bench for 1= 140
for reps: 125
As long as your are lifting safe and you have a properly planned workout you should be fine.
I’m 5ft 4 in. 125 lbs. 14yrs old. 1 bench max = 135. Im exceeding average. But I would say 80% is average.

so you could say I am over average
