The Kentucky Derby is the most famous 2-minutes of sports. It is the first and most famous of the Triple Crown Races (including the Preakness and the Belmont Stakes), which is run by 3-yr-old thoroughbreds. It is run on the first Saturday in May every year at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. This year was the 134th running of the Kentucky Derby and Big Brown won with Eight Belles coming in 2nd. She was later euthanized on the track after breaking both front ankles right after she finished the race. Only 3 fillies have ever won the Derby.
