Sandy Koufax won the Cy Young award three times. In 1963 for the Dodgers he went 25-5 with 306 strikeouts and a 1.88 ERA. In 1965, he won his second Cy Young going 26-8, with 382 strikeouts and a 2.04 ERA. His final Cy Young was the following season in 1966. He went 27-9, had 317 strikeouts and finished with a 1.73 ERA.

In all three Cy Young seasons he led the league in wins, ERA and strikeouts giving him the triple crown each year. In 1963, not only did he win the Cy Young, but he won the NL MVP.
