there is no *best* type. It is up to the individual to make their own opinion about that.

If you are looking at the type for the best, or easiest breeding, I would say arabians. They are very easy to breed, and have been used to make improvements to lots of other breeds.

If the owner wants their horse to specialise in a certain genre of sports, they can do so.
