In the U.S.,they are,The Kentucky Derby,The Preakness Stakes,and The Belmont S takes.Affirmed was the last horse to win it,in 1978.There hasn't been a winner since,but many have been close.In the 70's,three hosres won it.Secretariat in '73,Seattle Slew in '77,and affirmed in '78.

As of my last update in October 2023, the oldest living jockey to have won the St. Leger Stakes is Sir Gordon Richards. He won the prestigious race in 1947 and is celebrated as one of the greatest jockeys in horse racing history. His remarkable career and numerous achievements have left a lasting legacy in the sport.
