If you are looking for fourfolds in a given number of selections, write down the highest four numbers and put the lowest four numbers underneath and divide.

like this........ 16, 15, 14, 13. Underneath put 1, 2, 3, 4. Now divide. 4into 16 goes 4times. 3into 15 goes 5 times. 2 inti 14 goes 7 times. 1 of course divides into anything and remains the same.

Now what you have left are 4, 5, 7 13. Multiply these together to give the number of four timers in 16 selections. Which = 1820.

If you have 20 selections and want six timers you would write 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15 and write 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 underneath and go through the same process.

Sounds a bit long winded I know but you will soon get the hang of it.
