i don t know. how do u seal a water pump?
pump eff. = (pump dynamic head x pump flow)/(pump h.p x 3960)flow=gallon per minute
It depends on the specific pump. For most: the impeller, the wear ring & mechanical seal. In a pump with a packed stuffing box, the packing. In some pumps, the shaft coupling.
There are three type of electrical brakes that can be applied to motors. Regenerative Plugging in Dynamic "control braking" does not mean a correct description. Dynamic braking is better.
They are used to seal motors or machines and rotatin pump shaft or hydraulic cylinder pistons.
By bore do you mean weep hole? If so, the seal is leaking. Replace the pump.

If it is the pump seal - replace the seal and other related gaskets. If it is the pump itself - replace the entire pump.
The mechanical seal probably needs to be replaced, or it may be the seal plate gasket. if it is the seal it will eventually ruin the pump motor if not replaced. Go to you tube for a how to videoPOOLCENTER.com - Hayward Pool Pump Impeller-Seal Replace 2
Replace the pump seal. This is a friction seal and will need to be replaced periodically, however the more common cause of seal failure is running the pump without water. The water running through the pump is what keeps the seal cool and functional. If the pump has been run dry for any substantial length of time there may also be heat damage to other components of the pump. The rear seal plate, the impeller, the diffuser, even the entire pump housing can be heat damaged depending on the model of pump and how long it ran dry.
Your pumps ceramic shaft seal is leaking. There is a weep hole in the seal assemply that lets the water out when the seal leaks. The seal is inexpensive but replacing it requires removal of the motor and pump housing and disassembling the housing to access the seal ( 4 bolts total and pump impeller). The old seal can be carefully pried out and a new seal tapped back into the seat with a soft mallet.

It means that the gasket seal on the water pump is bad and you need to replace it before you drive the vehicle.
If the front seal on the pump is leaking this usually indicates the pump is bad. I recently had the same problem. It is wise just to replace it. If it is not replaced soon it will cause excess tension on the serpentine belt which could cause damage to other accessories that run of the belt.
