No, because if they can't maintain good grades then they can't manage school and a sport! If the grade raises then maybe because it depends if they are able to maintain a C average and juggle the responsibility of doing a sport and homework!
To "help" them concentrate on their studies and get better grades
stop playing computer games and start to study hard .. and do not waste ur time if you have a important thing to do
The teacher can give those students failing grades for that assignment.
In the principle's mind: Student is Tabula Rasa. Teacher is there to fill the empty space. Time goes by. Exams arrive. Student does badly. Teacher has failed to teach. Normally this isn't a problem on its own as some students are just too dense/disinterested to be taught, but if multiple students are all doing badly, it's often (not always) a sign that the teacher cannot interest them enough in the subject for them to learn. Especially in a private school, it's easier to kick out and replace one "failing" teacher than it is to kick out and replace multiple paying students(/customers.)
Yes, because they chose to play sports, so they must accept full responsibility for their grades in school.
failing grades are thus subject have failed because of absences and not passing their recquirements..
No, they should not be playing sports fi they do not have passing grades. Sports is an extra curricular activity that is played when you have extra time. Students should always be doing their homework before playing sports.

Yes. They haven't shown any responsibility for their actions by getting good grades and paying attention in classes. Why should they be trusted with a car that could kill someone or themselves? There is a great deal of responsibility that goes with driving.
Yes, students that are not passing their basic classes, the ones that will allow them to be a productive member of society and not on welfare, should be concentrating on school work, not on risky behavior that may end up killing innocent people.
