Honestly I like Gatorade and I don't have anything against them, but they have no other flavors so they add the word "frost" to make it sound cooler and sell more

The process in which fragments freeze to the bottom of a glacier and then are carried away when the glaciers are moved is called?

The process in which rock fragments freeze to the bottom of a glacier and are then carried away when the glacier moves is called plucking. After the last ice age, stranded ice blocks left behind by the continental glacier melted and formed kettles.

Why is freeze thaw weathering absoloutely vital if a glacier is going to be able to erode its valley?

Freeze-thaw weathering is vital for glacier erosion because it helps break down large rocks into smaller pieces, making it easier for the glacier to transport and erode them. The repeated freezing and thawing of water in cracks and crevices causes the rocks to expand and contract, eventually causing them to break apart. This process creates more material for the glacier to transport and use in eroding the valley.

When you have a cooler filled with ice and bottles of Gatorade why doesn't the Gatorade freeze?

Gatorade has a lower freezing point than water due to its sugar and electrolyte content. The presence of these solutes lowers the freezing point of the liquid, preventing it from solidifying even when in contact with ice in a cooler.

What makes gadorade freeze?

When Gatorade freezes, the water molecules within the liquid form ice crystals. The freezing point of Gatorade is lowered due to the presence of electrolytes and sugars, which disrupt the water molecules' ability to form a solid structure at typical freezing temperatures, causing it to freeze at a lower temperature than plain water.

What is the process called when glacier pick up rocks?

The process of a glacier picking up rocks and transporting them is called "glacial entrainment" or "glacial plucking." When a glacier moves over bedrock, it can freeze onto and pluck rocks from the surface, incorporating them into the ice. These rocks can then be transported and eventually deposited as the glacier flows and melts.
