Hendrick Motorsports has won 10 Cups, 4 by Jeff Gordon (1995,1997,1998, 2001) 1 by Terry Labonte in 1996 (Terry won his other Cup in 1984 with Billy Hagan's racing team), and 5 by Jimmie Johnson (2006, 2007,2008,2009,2010). (No opinions, please. Just facts) *2011 Cup Champion Tony Stewart, though owner/driver for Stewart-Haas Racing, used Hendrick Motorsports Engines in every race of the 2011 season!
Bootleggers were basically moonshine runners. Those that did this started racing their cars against each other, thus NASCAR was unofficially created.
Yes, NASCAR racing engines use antifreeze. There is no other way for them to keep the engine from overheating. NASCAR engines are similar to street engines but with more horsepower.
NASCAR events are ran by cars you can supposedly buy at any dealership, but of course, are greatly modified for the track.
NASCAR was started as a venture to allow the "moonshine runners" of the mid-Atlantic region a legal showcase to race their souped-up cars. Additionally, NASCAR served as a sanctioning body for these and other races.
Tony Stewart has not won a Nascar Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway, and Kentucky Speedway. He also never won a race at Rockingham Speedway, which does not hold Cup Series races any longer.
NASCAR started because of moonshine it is an illegal drink that they transported from the mountains to the cities where they would get money for transporting it successfully but they needed to go fast. then all the transporters got together and they strated to challenge each other and then it got more and more popular and soon to be it was NASCAR. i hope i answered ur question=)
there a few modifications, like patches and chrome rims, but other than that, not really.
No, those sly fvckers retired the game, it was my favorite.
Well theres 43 cars on the track driving full bore, and i would think all the gas fumes would be all over the dang place, so im guessing nascar or any other racing isn't the best for our enviorment.
