∙ 10y agoPeople can bounce a tennis ball on a racket forever. I'm pretty sure that there isn't an actual record for this.
The record from 1988 still stands at a rediculous 9,789,664 times by some crazy, over dilligent icelandic guy. He didn't sleep, would eat with one hand and even lay down on his side while he bounced it. With something so simple you know the record is going to be unbelievable.

The boy enjoyed bouncing the ball up and down.
That action is called bouncing a ball up and down.
A bouncing ball has its greatest potential energy at the highest point of its trajectory when it momentarily comes to a stop before starting to descend back down.
it is called dribbling
The movie with the iconic scene of a ball bouncing down the stairs is "The Shining" directed by Stanley Kubrick. It is a horror film based on the novel by Stephen King and is known for its eerie atmosphere and memorable moments like the ball rolling down the Overlook Hotel's staircase.
it is when you get down to the ball at 90 degrees
fall down on the earth or in the hands of a fielder
You can stop a tennis ball from bouncing by placing it in a freezer or exposing it to very cold temperatures. The cold will reduce the elasticity of the ball's rubber material, causing it to become stiff and unable to bounce.
When a cricket ball is projected vertically upward, the acceleration acting on the ball is gravitational acceleration directed downward. This causes the ball to slow down until it reaches the highest point of its trajectory, then it accelerates back downward due to gravity.
