A sight screen in cricket is a large board or structure that is placed beyond the boundary of the field of play, behind the bowler's arm at each end of the pitch. Its purpose is to provide a contrast for the batsman, allowing them to see the ball more clearly as it is bowled towards them. Sight screens are usually white or a light color to stand out against the background.
It is actually a "Sight Screen", A big white (when the ball is red) screen put up on the boundary behind where the bowler bowls. If it is an ODI or T20 and they are playing with a white ball then the sight screen will be black. It is so the batsman can clearly see the ball when it is bowled
