Ali had a flair for showmanship and used to tease his opponents. Sometimes though, he went a little far. Joe was a stand up guy and wasn't used to these types of taunts and couldn't see the reason for it. It did help build the gate though, and they both made lots of money. They did make up and forgive each other, and I think it was the press that made the grudge more than it was. Joe and Ali were great champions, there kind is no longer found in the boxing game.
