During his career he won European title's at Welterweight,Middleweight.Light- heavyweight and Heavyweight.He also won the World Light-heavyweight title from Battling Levinsky via 4th rd KO on Oct 12,1920 and unsuccessfully challenged Jack Dempsey for the Heavyweight title in 1921 being KO'd in the 4th.A unique fact regarding Carpentier is that he fought in every weight division from flyweight to heavyweight.
